My human anatomy drawings!
12/12/25 – My very, very first anatomy drawing to start this out. I had no clue what I was doing because I was doing this in my room late at night but it somehow came out… really good. Unfortuntately my lack of expertise led my skill to coalesce entirely into this single drawing and be unable to extend to any other reference. Still, it’s a great start!

9/20/26 – Wow, it’s been a while. It’s been really busy. I started art lessons again!! My first anatomy drawing I did on my own (with the supervision of my art teacher) that I actually liked. Doesn’t he kinda look like a dwarf?

9/20/26 – My teacher told me to focus on neater lines and hey, it actually looks decent! It was easier than I thought to get that head behind those arms.

9/20/26 – This guy looks a little funky, but it’s okay! First day of art classes, anyway. At least the proportions are kinda there.

9/20/26 – I went home and got inspiration to try a few more gesture drawings. This one I really like. What I wouldn’t give for quads like those.

9/20/26 – Wow, I had inspiration left for another fun pose! This time it was a little harder, and she’s most leg. Still, side by side with the reference there’s not much of a difference!

9/20/26 – I was texting my friends later that night when I wanted to show thtem a funnier drawing. Unfortunately the guy being thrown in the picture was more difficult to draw 😦 I still managed to finish it, though! I’d love to do this with my brother.

9/27/26 – I actually like the lines on this one. I’m surprised I managed to get the position right!

9/27/26 – My teacher gave me a new medium to work with (those chunky silky Korean colored pencils I grew up scribbling with), and I actually really like it! It might be my style. Check out the shading and lines!!

9/27/26 – My favorite drawing of this week. The chair looks a little wonky, but I personally love the shading and the lines!

10/11/26 – Tried to use water color for the first time in ages and… it turned out “okay.” I like the colors, but I made the torso too big 😦 I guess I can say the reference was on the more muscular side.

10/11/26 – My favorite drawing so far. I’ve been loving drawing dancing figures! I actually like how this drawing looks more naturally posed.

10/17/26 – This time I drew a figure yet included the muscles inside. It’s not entirely accurate – and the details are pretty questionable – but it’s fascinating to see all of the muscles working together. It helped to think of the muscles as building blocks of the sihouette rather than drawing them inside of the figure after sketching the outtline.
